The deal will see Parkpnp grow into mainland Europe for the first time and will accelerate the growth of digital parking payments in the Belgian market by making it easy for motorists to pay &amp; park in under-used parking spaces.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Parkpnp was founded in 2016 by Irish entrepreneurs Garret Flower &amp; Daniel Paul. Currently the company is parking over 100,000 cars a year and has a growing number of partnerships with leading real estate, parking &amp; hotel groups including MVGM, Euro Car Parks &amp; IHG. The company has raised \u20ac1.1m to date and is growing aggressively across Europe.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sharemypark generated plenty of buzz upon their launch in November 2016 with their residential parking marketplace quickly attracting 10,000 regular users. The new partnership with Parkpnp will see the Sharemypark rebranded as Parkpnp SPRL and allows the company to offer increased parking solutions to hotels, commercial operators and retailers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Parkpnp Global CEO Garret Flower remarked \u201cWe\u2019re really excited to bring Sharemypark onboard. Our complementary strengths are going to be a gamechanger for Belgian motorists. By locking down another market we will have the perfect launchpad to to become the European market leader by 2020.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Speaking about the acquisition Sharemypark Co-Founder Victor Boels who will be joining the Parkpnp team with his fellow Co-Founders William Detry and Murat Turkeli remarked \u201cWe realise that the online parking space is becoming increasingly competitive. In such a fast growing space it doesn\u2019t make sense for companies to become dragged into expensive turf wars.
