It\u2019s that time of the year again, LGBT Pride is just around the corner. For the weekend of June 29th – 31st, the streets of Dublin will be flooded with colour all in celebration of Dublin Pride. The main event will be taking place on June 30th with the Pride Parade.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, with thousands of people flooding to the city centre and traffic restrictions in place, parking can be a nightmare. Here\u2019s our top tips:<\/span><\/p>\n

First things first, ask yourself do you need the car? Bus, Luas and Dart are running regularly all weekend. Be conscious of diversions for Dublin Bus which will be in place on Saturday on the following routes between <\/span>2pm and 6pm: 13, 27, 40, 44, 49, 54a, 56a, 61, 77a, 83\/a, 123, 150, 151, 747 and the Hop On\/Off City Tour.<\/span><\/p>\n

Free Parking<\/b><\/p>\n

Unless you want to be up at the crack of dawn you\u2019re best forgetting about this option. Free parking around Dublin at weekends particularly on Saturdays is really hard to find especially with lots of traffic restrictions. <\/span><\/p>\n

Car Parks<\/b><\/p>\n

With traffic restrictions around Stephen\u2019s Green and a route which goes through<\/span> Cuffe St, Kevin St, Patrick St, Nicolas St, High St, Bridge St, Church St and North King St before finishing at Smithfield Square, it\u2019s best to park close to the action without getting caught up on the route.<\/span><\/p>\n

Your best bet for the weekend is to pre-book one of the multitude of special deals on offer from some of Dublin\u2019s hottest car parks.<\/span><\/p>\n

Q-Park\u2019s Four Courts<\/span><\/a> is great value for people travelling in along the Quays with a daily rate of \u20ac15 and if you fancy a few lemonades you can bag a 24 hour rate for \u20ac16.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you\u2019re coming in from the northside, <\/span>Clery\u2019s Car Park\u2019s <\/span><\/a>daily rate of \u20ac17 is very competitive. Other options include <\/span>Park Rite\u2019s IFSC<\/span><\/a> car park who have an all day Saturday special at \u20ac13.65.<\/span><\/p>\n

For those come from the southside, Parkpnp has a great pop-up car park on <\/span>Sir John Rogerson\u2019s Quay<\/span><\/a> for \u20ac11 (7am to 7pm), while the <\/span>RCSI<\/span><\/a> have a number of good deals starting from \u20ac14 very close to the start of the action.<\/span><\/p>\n

On-Street Parking<\/b><\/p>\n

On-street parking is another option, with a maximum stay of 3 hours you\u2019ll need to keep an eye to make sure you\u2019re always topped up. Spaces fill up very early with rates reaching up to \u20ac2.90 an hour.<\/span><\/p>\n

Private Spaces<\/b><\/p>\n
